It’s now been officially three months since I first posted my list and I have to say that I am shocked and amazed at how few things have been added to my list. With the exception of the additional Christmas knitting, I have added only added four projects for myself two of which are finished and one is in progress. I really don’t think that’s so bad. I am enjoying the focus that the list giving me and I have to admit, my next Year Of Projects List might already be starting in my head.
I’d love to know where everyone else is in this crazy little knitting adventure. Sorry for the short update, but it’s Thanksgiving weekend here in Canada. Things are a little busy.
Here’s a Mr. Linky for your Linking pleasure.

It surprises me how focused the year of projects is making me. I thought my list was unreasonable and I am cruising through it.

I am adding to my list, I am more capable than I thought. Plus of course I’ve had problems finding the right gauge for two of the projects. Although this might be demonstrating the lengths I will go to to avoid the housework, rather than my aptitude for knitting and crochet.
I was thinking this week about what I’d do differently if I was starting YoP again tomorrow. I would add in a yarn focussed challenge too – having seen so many beautiful Artesano wools that I honestly wouldn’t know what to make with them. I have so much to learn, but this great challenge is really helping!

Good gracious I have added so much. Granted, I keep my original list separate from the added items just so I can see how unfocused I am on the list and how much I’m still getting done.

I’m just finding your blog through Blogtoberfest! I’m a big list maker an really like the idea of creating a year of projects list. However, I do a lot of sample knitting so my “want” projects tend to get pushed back. I realized this past year that I hardly ever knit for myself. So maybe this would help me keep an eye on things I want.

Happy Thanksgiving!
Well done on your progress, and restraint from adding more things to your list!

Are you a list-maker in general? I”m obsessed. Sometimes when writing a list, I’ll include things I just got done, just so I can cross them off.

I am all over the place actually. I don’t want to delete the items on my list but I’m adding for sure!

Happy Thanksgiving. I wouldn’t worry too much about your list – I think everyone has changed theirs. What I like about the Year of Projects is that its got us all blogging and of course making new cyber friends which is a great thing.

I haven’t added anything to my list (but of course, I have ANOTHER list of unrelated craft goals!). I have made other things, but I don’t consider them added to the list ;).
