YOP Update – Feb 5, 2012

 

It’s been a fun week for me in the land of squishy fibre.  (It was an adventurous week otherwise, but I probably shouldn’t go into great detail about that ’cause it’s work related.  Lets just say knitting would have helped.)  Anyway, all is well and it’s a sunny day here so I might finally get some pictures of a few things to share with everyone.  On the fibre front, Nerd Wars Tournament Four kicked off this week.  I am exceedingly happy to be back on Team Hellmouth and hanging out with all the other Buffy the Vampire Slayer knitters.  I’m trying very hard to make sure that the projects I turn in are already on my list or are small and not taking up much time.  My first project was a dishcloth so I am ahead on my personal dishcloth challenge of 24 cloths this year!  I am almost finished my second shawl for the 12 in 12 challenge and even though I have been desperately wanting to cast on Walnut Grove, (I can use it for Nerd Wars), I am making myself finish Arrowhead first.  Most importantly, Algonquin is still coming along nicely and hopefully Tanya will have it by the end of the month.
