About Me

I’ve been knitting since 2003 and I clearly remember staring at my burgundy acrylic square that took me almost two weeks to finish and thinking “why in the world does anyone enjoy this?”

Jump ahead a few years and I have finished many, many things and most days enjoy knitting. I have a stash that threatens to burst out of the closet, a wheel, and a desire to knit more all the time. I do volunteer work for Knitty.com, have a group on Ravelry called Come Blog A-long, and teach knitting to kids in hopes of making more fibre fanatics.

When I can pull myself away from my yarn you can find me running, doing yoga, watching really cheesy horror movies, or in the kitchen being a tasty kind of creative.
